Gem consultants divided the haul equally between the climber and the native council, with every lot valued at 75,000 euros ($84,350), a spokesman for the council instructed CNN on Tuesday.

The council will put its stones on show on the Chamonix Crystal Museum, which has been beneath renovation and is ready to reopen on December 19, in line with the Fb put up.
The council stated the valuable stones have been being transported on board an Air India Boeing 707, the “Kanchenjunga,” which crashed on Mont Blanc in 1966, killing 117 individuals.
The crash is the topic of conspiracy theories suggesting the flight, which carried the daddy of India’s nuclear business, Homi Bhabha, was shot down by a fighter jet or missile.
Mont Blanc is the tallest mountain in western Europe.
